Cinevic’s Reel to Reel Music Video Challenge
The screening and judging will be held on Sunday, September 14th, 2008 at Lucky Bar. Doors open at 7:00 pm, screening starts at 8:00 pm. Cost is $6.00 at the door.
Reel-to-Reel is an annual event created by Cinevic: Independent Society of Filmmakers and sponsored by CFUV 101.9 that unites local musicians and filmmakers in creating short musical films. The songs are selected by a committee and distributed to production teams randomly.

Rendezvous with Madness is now accepting entries for its 16th anniversary program.
Deadline for submissions is now August 29th, 2008.
The Rendezvous with Madness Film Festival is North America’s premiere festival showcasing films dedicated to promoting cinematic representations of mental illness, addiction, and/or recovery. Each program is followed by a panel discussion with representatives from the filmmaking and artistic community, mental health professionals and the mental health community.
