Movie Monday

6:30 pm Monday 11 October, 2010

The Commitments

An Enormously satisfying tale of an ambitious young Dubliner who takes on the challenge of assembling…a band made up of working class Dubliners who sing ’60’s-style blues.

Also: The short film Boar Attack will precede The Commitments – with Jay White, currently residing on Gabriola Island, on hand to talk about his film. This short film is a celebration of freedom of expression, and taking chances when that can be a scary thing to do.
